A trip to Grand Junction, Colorado

We took a weekend to visit Grant's hometown/family. Amazing place and amazing people!
Since it was so warm we traded in weekend skiing for a hike in the morning and biking in the afternoon.

An absolutely amazing day for biking. That's the Colorado River in the background.

We hiked to Liberty Cap which boasts great views of Grand Junction.

Just about every Friday afternoon this semester has been spent on the slopes with Grant and his little sister Megan. My goal was to be able to pull a 180 by the end of the season...(coming soon as part of part 4)

Tom and Katy sat among the 'poor' class and shared one bowl of beans and rice with 5 or so other people while Grant and I were lucky enough to sit among the 'middle-class' and got a slice of pizza and a hot dog.
